¿Cómo funcionan las citas rápidas?
Tienes un tiempo establecido para charlar con cada persona presente (normalmente 4 minutos). Después de esto, suena una campana y los hombres cambian de mesa. Esto continúa hasta que hayas tenido una "cita" con todos. Entre cada campanada, tienes la oportunidad de tomar algunas notas y decidir si esa persona es compatible. Alrededor de la mitad del evento, generalmente hay un breve descanso para ir al baño y tomar algo.
Al final de la noche, envías los nombres de las personas con las que le gustaría coincidir y, con suerte, volver a ver. Luego, los organizadores comparan y compilan listas y te envían un correo electrónico con los resultados. Si alguien te gustó y tú también le gustaste a ellos, se te proporcionarán los datos de contacto, siempre que ambos hayan dado su consentimiento para esto, ¡para que puedas ponerse en contacto y organizar su próxima cita!
Muchas personas encuentran que reunirse en persona es la mejor manera de conocer gente. Las citas tradicionales consumen mucho tiempo y es difícil saber a dónde ir para conocer a otros solteros. Este entorno creado a propósito brinda la oportunidad de mezclarse con solteros compatibles en su grupo de edad.
¿Cuántas citas voy a tener en el evento?
Según nuestros Términos y condiciones, las citas mínimas que garantizamos son 6 de cada género, la mayoría de los eventos superan este número. ¡Nuestros eventos más populares tienen hasta 16 o más citas!
Prepárate para tu primer evento
1. Qué ponerte. Elige tu ropa con tiempo.
2. Preguntas. Ten en cuenta qué es importante para ti en una persona o en una relación.
3. Respuestas. La mayoría de la gente piensa en lo que va a preguntar, pero piensa también en lo que vas a responder.
4. No llegues tarde, no causa una buena primera impresión.
¿Qué ropa ponerse?
Recomendamos vestirse elegante e informal para las citas rápidas. Esto equivale al tipo de ropa que usarías para cenar con amigos o tomar algo en algún bar, pero no demasiado elegante. No te vistas como si fueras a una boda o un club. ¡Pero tampoco te presentes con pantalones deportivos y una camiseta desteñida!
How does speed dating work?
You have a set time to chat with each person present (usually 4 minutes). After this, a bell rings and the men move down a seat. This continues until you’ve had a ‘date’ with everyone in the room. Between each bell ring, you have the chance to make some notes and decide if that person is a match. Around halfway through, there’s usually a short break, for the bathroom and more drinks.
At the end of the night, you submit the names of the people with whom you’d like to match and hopefully see again. Then the organisers compare and compile lists and email you with the results. If someone you liked also liked you, you’ll be provided with contact details - provided you’ve both given consent to this - so you can get in touch and arrange your next date!
Many people find that meeting in person is the best way to work out if you’re likely to hit it off. Traditional dating is time-consuming and it’s hard to know where to go to meet other singles. This purpose created environment provides the opportunity to mingle with eligible singles in your age bracket.
How many dates will I get at a speed dating event?
As per our Terms and Conditions, the minimum dates we guarantee are 6 of each gender, most events exceed this number. Our popular events have up to 16 or more dates!
Preparing for your first speed dating night
1. Your outfit. Work out to wear in advance.
2. Questions. Have some chat ready.
3. Answers. People often plan their questions but forget to think about how they might respond when asked common ones.
4. Don’t be late, it doesn’t make a good first impression.
What to wear?
We recommend dressing smart-casual for speed dating. This equates to the kind of thing you might wear to dinner with friends, or drinks somewhere nice, but not overly fancy. Don't dress up like you're going to a wedding or a club. But don't turn up in jogging bottoms and a faded t-shirt either!
